About Johan - Johan Drone Adventures

My name is Johan and I love drone photography.

My story starts in August 2018, when I bought my first drone, the DJI Mavic Air. Very impressed by its capabilities, I was hooked right away and I’ve basically been flying ever since. Continuously trying to capture the most beautiful and creative aerial shots all over the world. And at the same time trying to improve my photography and editing skills. Never stop learning! 🙂

After I joined the Amazing Aerial Agency in June 2019, I decided to upgrade my drone to the DJI Mavic 2 Pro, which was a fantastic piece of technology and had a much better 1 inch camera. This new camera really elevated my skills (both in the field and in post-processing) and pushed me to become professional about my drone photography.

I’m from Belgium. However I love to travel and create new content, so I’m always exploring new countries and taking in new experiences.

During Covid-19, we were forced back to Belgium, so I decided to use my time to launch the very first ‘Drone Adventurer Masterclass’ and teach others exactly what I had learned over the past years. In 2020 I launched my first ‘drone trip’ to the Azores, a group of islands with unparalleled opportunities for drone photography. This first edition was so much fun that I decided to double down on this concept. 2023 marked a new step, as I upgraded to the DJI Mavic 3 Classic drone, which has that lovely 4/3 inch sensor for even better low-light details. Keep an eye on my Instagram to see the quality first-hand.
