Being ‘grounded’ in Belgium is definitely a new challenge for me. Therefor I decided to start with real estate drone photography. Easier said than done 🙂
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know we were traveling around the world for 15 months, until all the borders closed and we were forced to stop traveling. So Belgium definitely feels very small …
Real estate drone project:
Therefore, in order to earn some money, I decided to apply my drone skills to the local real estate market. I have made several partnerships before with luxury hotels on our trip, making beautiful photos and videos for them. So I figured real estate drone photography would be a good next step. Not just any real estate though, because rates are incredibly low for a standard house or apartment. No, I’m focusing solely on premium real estate! Luxury villa’s with an impressive terrain.
So I’m pleased to say I shot my first villa for Engel&Völkers last weekend. For my next project I will be combining inside & outside videos to create an all-round impression.
My tip: There is definitely still good money to be made in a saturated market such as real estate, but you need to focus on where you can add value (and charge accordingly).
